Atlanta Americasmart Write On!

I'm counting the days to Atlanta! Very excited about seeing my industry friends. There is a level of anxiety about how the traffic will be at the show. But I can't help getting a little butterfly of thrill thinking about the energy of set up, people scurrying around creating their booths, giggling and cussing, folks coming in from all over the world, brisk walks around wintry Atlanta, the bling-bling of the show, floors and floors of eye capturing lovelies, and a good meal or two out!

I'm also very excited about sharing a booth with Karen Bullard of karen cole paper www.karencolepaper.com . It will be a delight to have another artist to share the trials, tribulations, and successes of the business of art driven stationery! And I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and potential business partners who love everything art, color, and paper! A 2009 goal for me is to learn more about licensing my art, and to network with industry experts for future collaborative projects!

Ooh - I'd better get going on a sign...

New Collegiate Charm: Collegiate Licensing Company Approves East Carolina University!

I'm very excited to announce approval to move ahead with production of East Carolina University stationery. The Collegiate Licensing Company has approved my new painting of the East Carolina Cupola, and I will begin printing note cards and note pads soon. I hope to get this new line into the student stores and local specialty shops in and around Greenville early 2009. Here is a sneak peek at the painting!
