I've just finished and delivered my latest commission, a cityscape of Chicago and Navy Pier. I, despite this being very different for me in style and color, absolutely loved drawing and painting this city. I went to the client's house and took my color fan to match up the hues throughout their house. From this I selected paint to pick up on cool and warm tones to include in the paintings. This project was especially joyful as the paintings would become a gift for my client's wife's birthday. They spent memorable time in Chicago and my hope is that these paintings will provide them with personal and visual meaning.
